About these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ILTPV Apps ("we," "our," or "us") about Globy — the app and its keyboard, called AI Translator Keyboard: Globy on the App Store (together, the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to the Globy Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

These Terms apply to Globy only. Our other apps and this website are covered by our general Terms of Use.

Using Globy

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to hold an Apple Account and enter a binding contract in your country, whichever is greater. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf.

Your licence

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own conversations — personal or at work. This licence follows the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The App is licensed to you, not sold, and we keep all rights we don't expressly give you here.

Fair use

The App relies on online translation services that cost us money for every request. To keep it working for everyone, you agree not to:

• use the App's translation services outside the App, or extract the keys, addresses or other means the App uses to reach them;
• send automated, bulk or excessive requests, or otherwise overload or disrupt our services or the services the App relies on;
• get around subscription, usage or security limits, or use paid features without paying for them;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
• rent, lend, sell, redistribute or sublicense the App;
• use the App to harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone, to send unlawful content, or otherwise to break the law or anyone's rights;
• remove or hide any copyright, trademark or other notice.

To protect the service, we may limit how often the App can translate, even with Globy Premium, or block requests that look like misuse.

Your text

You own what you write, and you own the translations made from it. To translate your text, the App has to send it to translation services, as the Privacy Policy explains. You give us, and the services we use, permission to process your text only for that purpose, and only for as long as it takes. We don't keep your text, and we don't use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for what you write and send, and for having the right to share it — including messages from other people that you copy into the keyboard to translate.

Translations

Translations are made automatically by machine translation and AI models.They may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate: they can miss tone, context, idioms or names, get the language wrong, or occasionally produce something offensive or untrue.

• Read every translation before you send it. You decide what you send, and you are responsible for it.
• Don't rely on the App where a mistake could cause harm — for example medical, legal, financial or safety information, emergencies, contracts or official documents. Use a qualified human translator for these.
• Translations are not professional or certified translations, and nothing in the App is professional advice.

Internet, availability and changes

Translation needs an internet connection and Full Access for the keyboard, which you turn on in the iOS Settings app. Offline translation isn't available. The App relies on services run by us and by others, so it may sometimes be slow or unavailable, and we can't promise it will always work.

We may improve, change, limit or remove features, change the services behind them (for example, switch to a different translation or AI model), stop supporting older iOS versions, or discontinue the App. If we discontinue the App while you have an active subscription, we'll tell you in the App beforehand.

Privacy

How the App handles your data is described in the Globy Privacy Policy. In short: what you type stays on your iPhone; text you ask to translate is sent to translation services and not kept by us; there are no accounts, ads or tracking; a random ID, managed by RevenueCat, tells our server whether you have Globy Premium; and problem reports you choose to send are kept for up to 12 months.

Free translations and Globy Premium

Without a subscription, the App gives you a limited number of free translations each day. We may change how many.

Globy Premium, an auto-renewing subscription, removes the daily limit. "Unlimited translations" means no daily limit for normal personal use: use far beyond what a person types by hand may be slowed or paused, as Fair use describes. The plans, their length and price, and any free trial are shown in the App before you buy, and on its App Store page.

• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn auto-renewal off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends, at the price of the option you chose.
• Free trials. If a free trial is offered, the subscription starts and is charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage your subscription or turn auto-renewal off at any time in your Apple Account settings on your device. When you cancel, you keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for.Deleting the App doesn't cancel a subscription.
• Price changes. If we change the price, Apple will tell you and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds follow Apple's rules.We can't issue refunds ourselves, because we never receive your payment or see your billing details. You can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing here limits any right to withdraw or get a refund that you have under consumer law where you live. If something in the App isn't working, please tell us first — we'd rather fix it.

Feedback and problem reports

You can send us problem reports and feedback from the App or by email. We use them to fix and improve the App. If you suggest an idea, we may use it without owing you anything for it. What a report contains and how long we keep it is described in the Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

Translations come from services run by others, such as Google Translate and AI models reached through OpenRouter, and subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their content, availability or how they change. Links in the App to other websites are provided for convenience; those websites are governed by their own terms.

Intellectual property

The App — its design, code, icons, word lists and the names and logos of Globy and ILTPV Apps — belongs to ILTPV Apps or its licensors. The prediction dictionaries are built from openly licensed text collections, credited in the App under Settings › Acknowledgements. Your licence lets you use the App, but gives you no ownership of it.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. In particular, we don't promise that translations will be accurate or suitable, or that the App will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

Some places don't allow implied warranties to be excluded, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here affects consumer rights that the law where you live doesn't allow us to exclude.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ILTPV Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, arising from:

• your use of, or inability to use, the App;
• any translation, including any message you send or decision you make based on one;
• the acts, content or availability of any third-party service;
• unauthorised access to, or loss of, data on your device.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that can't be limited by law. Some places don't allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms and ending them

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and if a change is significant we'll also tell you in the App. If you keep using the App after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you don't agree with them, stop using the App.

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it — remember that this doesn't cancel a subscription. Your licence ends automatically if you break these Terms, and we may then block your access to our translation services.

Apple-specific terms

Apple requires these terms for apps from the App Store. If they conflict with the rest of these Terms, they take priority with respect to Apple.

• This agreement is with us, not Apple. These Terms are between you and ILTPV Apps only. ILTPV Apps, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Scope of licence. Your licence is a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Maintenance and support. ILTPV Apps is solely responsible for maintaining and supporting the App. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for the App.
• Warranty. ILTPV Apps is solely responsible for any product warranties, express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are the sole responsibility of ILTPV Apps.
• Product claims. ILTPV Apps, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
• Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that the App or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, ILTPV Apps, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
• Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• U.S. Government end users. The App and its documentation are "Commercial Items" as defined at 48 C.F.R. §2.101, consisting of "Commercial Computer Software" and "Commercial Computer Software Documentation" as those terms are used in 48 C.F.R. §12.212 or 48 C.F.R. §227.7202. They are licensed to U.S. Government end users only as Commercial Items and with only the rights granted to all other end users under these Terms.
• Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
